Eligible Individuals
Citizens aged 40 and over (born on or before April 1, 1987)
Notice: The following individuals are excluded from eligibility.
- Individuals undergoing treatment or observation for colorectal diseases
- During Menstruation
- Those who underwent the examination within the fiscal year

How to Receive Medical Examination
Please apply directly to the medical institution and receive your examination.
Note: The application start date is from May 1, 2026.

Cost
Self-payment of 480 yen
Note: For those with a 10% share of the Health Insurance Card, the fee is 160 yen, and for those with a 20% share, the fee is 320 yen (presentation of the My Number Health Insurance Card is required)
Exemptions from Burden Fees
As of the date of the examination, those who fall under any of the following (1), (2), or (3) are exempt from the self-payment fee. Please note that prior procedures (however, the procedures start from June 3) are required.
- (1) Households receiving Public Assistance
- Please obtain a "Public Assistance Certificate" or "Support Benefit Certificate" in advance from the City Hall Livelihood Welfare Division and submit it at the reception on the day of the examination.
- (2) Former Japanese Residents in China
- Please obtain a "Public Assistance Certificate" or "Support Benefit Certificate" in advance from the City Hall Livelihood Welfare Division and submit it at the reception on the day of the examination.
- (3) Households Exempt from Municipal Resident Tax

Please obtain the "Exemption Confirmation for Patient Burden (also Exemption Decision Document)" at the Inagi City Health Center reception or via the link below (web application). Please submit it at the reception on the day of the examination.
Note: For web applications, the application deadline is the 22nd of each month, and the "Exemption Confirmation Certificate for Patient Burden (also Exemption Decision Document)" is scheduled to be delivered in early the following month. If you wish to have it issued on the same day, please apply at the Inagi City Health Center counter.
Note: For those who have recently moved in and have not had a tax decision made in Inagi City, please obtain a "Non-Taxation Certificate" from the municipality you moved from and bring it to the Health Center. For more details, please contact the Health Center.
Note: Common Matters
- For each type of certificate, one is required for each type of cancer screening.
- The validity period of various certificates is within 6 months after issuance.
