Application for Unitary High Cost Medical/Long-Term Care Benefit

If the total amount paid for the co-payment of the Late-Stage Elderly Medical Care system and the user burden amount of Long-Term Care Insurance exceeds the self-burden limit shown in the table below for one year (from August 1 to July 31 of the following year), you can apply for a refund for the excess amount from both the Late-Stage Elderly Medical Care system and Long-Term Care Insurance if approved. Application Forms are sent from the regional union around March each year to those who are eligible.
