About the Community General Support Center

The Community General Support Center is a familiar consultation window concerning the lives and care of Older Adults.
To ensure that Older Adults can continue living safely and comfortably in their familiar communities, we provide consultations on care, welfare, insurance, medical care, and connect them to necessary support and services.

• Consultation is free.
• Consultation is available not only for Older Adults themselves and their families but also if there is someone in the neighborhood you are concerned about.

For those who find it difficult to go out, consultations by home visit are also provided as needed. First, please contact the Community General Support Center responsible for your residential area by phone.

Support Provided by the Community General Support Center

We accept various consultations

We accept consultations regarding the life, health, nursing care, welfare, and other matters of Older Adults.
We review the consultation details and, as needed, connect you to nursing care services, medical institutions, welfare systems, and community activities.

We support preventive care

We provide support to prevent conditions that require care or assistance due to muscle weakness, memory loss, and other factors.
We guide you through preventive care initiatives tailored to each individual's condition and assist with the necessary procedures.
There may also be classes held in the community such as the following.

• Preventive Care Class
• Health Promotion Classes for Older Adults
• Classes Supporting Family Caregiving

Protecting the Rights of Older Adults

We collaborate with related organizations to provide the following support so that Older Adults can live with peace of mind.

• Prevention and Early Detection of Abuse of Older Adults, Prevention of Damage from Malicious Business Practices
• Support for contracts related to care services
• Consultation on daily financial management
• Support for the use of community welfare rights protection projects
• Support for the use of the adult guardianship system

We promote collaboration with local support organizations

For those certified as Support Required Level 1 or Level 2

Care prevention service plans for those certified as requiring Support Level 1 or Support Level 2 under the nursing care certification are created by the Community General Support Center.
