Inagi IC College (Interactive Community: a society of mutual exchange) is a citizen university operated through mutual interaction among students, instructors, volunteer directors, and staff from the Lifelong Learning Division.

General Education Courses and Professor Lecture Series

Since October 2003, we have offered general education courses "by citizens as instructors, for citizens," and since October 2007, we have established the Professor Lecture Series mainly featuring professors from nearby universities.

Instructor Recruitment

Inagi IC College is recruiting instructors who can take the podium for courses. We welcome applications from citizens for the General Education Courses and from those with university teaching experience for the Professor Lecture Series.

Celebrating the 20th Anniversary

Inagi IC College celebrated its 20th anniversary in September 2023.

To commemorate the 20th anniversary, we have compiled a booklet covering the 10 years from the 10th to the 20th anniversary. It is filled with fascinating content about how "Inagi IC College," planned and operated by the citizen volunteer board of directors, has grown and evolved.

This booklet is filled with the history of Inagi IC College and expectations for the future, along with episodes from each course and voices from instructors and students that cannot be conveyed by numbers alone, such as the increase in the number of courses and students.
