Bulky Waste Collection Service

We assist with the removal of bulky waste

The city provides a removal service for households that have difficulty bringing bulky waste to the designated disposal location.

You can use this service by paying only the regular bulky waste processing fee; there are no additional charges for the carrying-out service.

Eligible Households

Households in which all members fall under one of the following categories

• Older Adults aged 65 and over
• Persons with a physical disability of grade 4 or higher

Application Procedure

1. We will accept your request for the carrying-out service.
　Please contact the Living Environment Division by phone. (042-378-2111 (main))

　・We will issue the "reception number" required to receive the carrying-out service.
　・It may take up to half a day to issue the number.

2. Once the reception number is confirmed, the city will call you to inform you of the number.

3. Please call the bulky waste dedicated dial (042-370-5505) and apply for bulky waste disposal.
　At that time, please inform the operator that you would like to request the carrying-out service and provide your reception number.

　・The schedule for the carrying-out service will be discussed during this phone call.

Requests

• Since we will enter your home, please be sure to be at home after 1:00 PM on the day of the carrying-out service.
  We will visit in order starting from 1:00 PM (time cannot be specified).
• For bulky waste, workers will come to the room where the items are located and carry them out through the entrance.
  If the items cannot be taken out from the room or entrance, the work may be discontinued.
• In principle, we do not accept the dismantling of bulky waste.
  For items that require dismantling, please handle this yourself in advance.
• We will carry out the work with great care, but there may be cases where walls, floors, etc. get scratched.
  Please apply with prior understanding of this.
