Organization Overview

The Inagi City Junior Firefighting Club was established in April 1982 in the Sakahama area, and the Oshitate area Junior Firefighting Club was established in December 1983.
Composed mainly of boys and girls from elementary and junior high schools in the city, they acquire knowledge and skills related to fire prevention and disaster prevention from a young age, and engage in activities such as fire prevention and disaster prevention training, discipline training, creating fire prevention posters, distributing fire prevention flyers, and conducting crime prevention patrols.

Facility Tour Overview

The Oshitate-Sakahama District Youth Firefighting Club conducts facility tours as part of its annual plan.
This facility allows for fire-fighting experiences, where participants can train in smoke experiences, initial fire extinguishing, earthquake experiences, and learn about the importance of fire prevention and disaster awareness, as well as the significance of group actions, while acquiring the necessary knowledge for fire prevention as members of the youth fire-fighting club.

In the Sakahama and Oshitate District Youth Firefighting Club joint experiential learning, participants can deepen their knowledge of fire prevention and disaster prevention by learning about ladder truck rides, first aid training, discipline training, and rope tying training.
