About Lithium-ion Batteries

Fires caused by lithium-ion batteries in smartphones, tablets, mobile batteries, and other devices are increasing. In the year 2024, there have been three fires caused by lithium-ion batteries.

[Fire Incident]

When I heard a "bang" sound from the mobile battery that was charging on the futon and checked it, I found a flame about 1 meter high rising from the charging mobile battery.

As a result of the investigation, it is believed that the lithium-ion battery internally short-circuited, causing it to heat up, expand, rupture, and catch fire.
