About the Tokyo Metropolitan Waterworks Bureau App

The Tokyo Metropolitan Waterworks Bureau has released the "Tokyo Metropolitan Waterworks Bureau App," which allows you to easily and quickly complete various procedures when moving, apply for direct debit or credit card payments, and pay bills from your smartphone.
In the app, in addition to the meter reading slip, past usage status, and notifications from the Waterworks Bureau, you can also use your smartphone's location information to check nearby disaster water supply stations (water supply points).
Detailed information about the app and how to use it can be found on the official website of the Waterworks Bureau.
Please be sure to use the "Tokyo Metropolitan Waterworks Bureau App."

We deliver safe and delicious water with high-quality water quality management (TOKYO High Quality Program)

The quality of tap water is regulated by the national government based on scientific knowledge, and it is mandatory for business operators to ensure that quality.
The Tokyo Waterworks Bureau not only adheres to those standards but also promotes its own initiatives to deliver safe and delicious tap water to your faucet 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

  • Testing of 283 items that greatly exceed the national water quality standards, prompt responses to adhere to the standards
  • Constant water quality checks at 131 faucets (water supply points) in the city
  • First in the country to obtain ISO/IEC 17025 as a water utility

The Tokyo Metropolitan Waterworks Bureau's website introduces initiatives such as water quality testing. Please take a look.

Please let us know your feedback on how to make our website better.
