Inagi × Shogi

"Shogi Town Inagi" will host many professional shogi players and female shogi players for the first-ever "Inagi Shogi Festival".

There are plenty of events that anyone can enjoy, from those who have never experienced shogi to shogi fans.

Please be sure to visit the "Inagi Shogi Festival", packed full of the charm of shogi.

• The day before, the "National Shogi Summit 2026" will be held.

[Yasumitsu Sato Cup Children's Shogi Tournament]

　Since FY2017, we have been holding "Children's Shogi Events" as part of the Inagi City Cultural Festival.

　Until FY2024, we have conducted instructional matches with multiple simultaneous games by 9-dan Sato.

　In FY2025, in addition to the instructional matches, we held the inaugural "Yasumitsu Sato Cup Children's Shogi Tournament" as a new initiative.
