Contents

In Vol.03, alongside Mr. Okawara, who is active across the anime industry, we shared valuable insights with the audience covering a wide range of topics—from behind-the-scenes stories of the works Mr. Kawamori was involved in, to the differences seen in their design approaches. Mr. Okawara emphasizes the positioning and meaning of mecha as characters, while Mr. Kawamori focuses on the characteristics, functions, and mechanisms as machines. They share the commonality of conceptualizing using three-dimensional forms. The discussion also sounded a warning about the current homogenization of design.
