Contents

In Vol.06, titled "Showcasing! Kunio Okawara's Work Unraveled from Carefully Selected Masterpieces," we introduce selected masterpieces along with their opening footage, from Okawara's debut work, the SF anime landmark "Science Ninja Team Gatchaman," to "Mobile Suit Gundam," which sparked a social phenomenon alongside "Gunpla" at the time, and Japan's nationally beloved gag anime "Yatterman."
In the world of animation, "mechanical design" involves designing robots, vehicles, firearms, and other elements that appear in the story to visualize the world setting. Mr. Okawara himself, who has consistently held the title of "Mechanical Designer" first credited in his 1972 debut work, explained the mechanical designs in the works and shared his thoughts on them.
In addition, the "All Japan Manufacturing Top-Spinner Battle," where small and medium-sized manufacturers from across the country, supported by Mr. Okawara, compete with tops they have proudly crafted on the dohyo ring, was held again as the Inagi event following vol. 5.
