Response of Sports Facilities During Heat Stroke Warning Alerts

The Ministry of the Environment and the Japan Meteorological Agency issue the "Heatstroke Warning Alert" and "Heat Index" to encourage preventive actions against heatstroke when extremely high-risk hot environments are forecasted.
Additionally, starting from Reiwa 6, in addition to the conventional heatstroke warning alerts, the operation of the "Special Heatstroke Warning Alert" has begun.
Unprecedented dangerous heat is expected, so please thoroughly implement measures to prevent heatstroke.

On days when the heat index (WBGT) reaches 31 or higher at observation points in Hachioji or Fuchu, refunds will be available. If you cancel the use of sports facilities (outdoor facilities only) due to heatstroke prevention, we will refund the usage fee, so please contact the manager of each facility by the specified time.

Note: This follows the alert announcement period.

Refund Conditions

• Refunds are only possible on days when the heat index (WBGT) at observation points in Hachioji or Fuchu reaches 31 or higher.
• The applicable facilities are outdoor facilities only (General Ground, Baseball Field, Tennis Courts, "Wakabadai Koen" Multipurpose Plaza, Inagi Nagamine Tokyo Verdy Field, Minami-Tama Sports Plaza, Friend Hirao Ground).
• Be sure to contact the facility manager below by the specified time.
