[Notice] Regarding the Resumption of Construction

Project Overview

In Inagi City, based on the progress of the Minamiyama East Land Readjustment Project and the 'TOKYO GIANTS TOWN Concept,' improvements are being carried out to review the existing layout of the plaza in front of the south exit of Inagi Station for the expansion of bus boarding areas and others.
Following the roadway improvements associated with the layout changes of bus and taxi boarding and waiting areas carried out in FY2024, we will proceed with improvements to the sidewalk sections.

Main Construction Details

This construction will involve replacing the sidewalk pavement, installing new bus shelters, removing and reinstalling the existing large roof, upgrading facilities such as benches and information signs, and removing planting strips. Additionally, cherry trees will be cut down along with the removal of the planting strips, but new cherry trees are planned to be planted on the traffic island.
During the construction period, we ask all users of the station square to detour pedestrians and use temporary bus stops, among other measures.
Depending on the construction phase, the detour routes and the use of temporary bus stops will vary. Once the detailed dates and plans are decided, we will inform you through this page and on-site signboards.
