June is "Food Education Month" every year, and the 19th of every month is "Food Education Day"

Food education is about nurturing individuals who, throughout their lives, acquire knowledge about food and the ability to make food choices, enabling them to practice a healthy diet and develop a rich humanity. To promote food education, the Basic Plan for Food Education involves cooperation among the national government, local governments, and related organizations to carry out food education promotion activities. Every year, June is designated as "Food Education Month," and the 19th of every month is designated as "Food Education Day." Let these occasions be an opportunity for families to gather around the table and think about food.
What is "Food Education Month" every June?

Food Education Month is a period during which the national government, local public bodies, and related organizations collaborate to intensively promote food education and deepen its penetration among the public. "Food Education Month" was established by the "Basic Plan for Food Education Promotion." Every year, a nationwide event called the "National Food Education Promotion Convention" is held in various regions across the country.

Food Education Day on the 19th of every month is a commemorative day established based on the "Basic Plan for the Promotion of Food Education" under the Basic Act on Food Education. Enjoying eating is important

When you experience the joy of eating activities, such as helping with cooking or making handmade food together with someone, the enjoyment of meals expands even more. Food education is not only for children but also important for adults. To stay healthy for a long time, adults should also learn about food education together.
