Remote Sign Language Interpretation Service
About the Remote Sign Language Interpretation Service (Enkaku+)
We are launching the "Remote Sign Language Interpretation Service Project," which allows people with hearing impairments who use sign language as their primary language to communicate through sign language interpretation anytime, anywhere, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year using smartphones and other devices.
Eligible Individuals
Applicants must meet all of the following requirements.
1. Possess a Physical Disability Certificate issued by Inagi City Support (hearing impairment, speech and language function impairment)
2. Use sign language as the primary means of communication
3. Be of high school age or older
Note: Since communication will be conducted via email, please prepare the email address you will use before applying.
Usage Fee
A monthly fee of 550 yen (tax included) will be charged from the month of registration.
Note: Users from tax-exempt or Public Assistance households are exempt from the user fee.
Note: Prorated calculation does not apply.
Start Date
The service is scheduled to start in September 2026.
How to Use

Applicants must apply in advance using the city’s form, and those who meet the eligibility requirements will register through a form created by the commissioned Business Operators. The service will be available approximately one week after registration.
