Benefits for the Use of Facilities for Parenting
- 1. Those using kindergartens that have not transitioned to the new system (current system kindergartens)

1. Those using kindergartens that have not transitioned to the new system (current system kindergartens)
Eligible Individuals
Children from the 3-year-old class to the 5-year-old class
Note: The class for children who are 3 years old is one level below the younger class and will be free of charge starting from the day before their 3rd birthday.
Details of Free Provision
A monthly maximum of 25,700 yen will be provided for nursery school fees and enrollment fees.
However, the costs for school lunch ingredients, transportation fees, and event expenses will be the responsibility of the Parent or Guardian.
Procedure
Certification Application
Please submit the Application Form for the certification of benefits for the use of facilities for Parenting (Type 1) through the Kindergarten by the day before the desired start date of benefits. You can also obtain the Application Form at the Kindergarten.
Please note that benefits cannot be received for usage prior to the application form acceptance date.
In addition, for those using the childcare service, if you are applying for the second or third category of certification for benefits for the use of facilities for Parenting, the application for the first category is not necessary.
Billing
Facilities within the city will be billed and received on behalf of the parents at the nursery, so there is no need for parents or guardians to go through the billing process.
In the case of a reimbursement payment method at facilities outside the city, please pay the full usage fee to the facility first, then fill out the invoice and submit it along with the receipt issued by the facility and the certificate of specific child care support. We will transfer the amount to the designated account.

2. Those who use after-school care at Kindergartens and Certified Childcare Centers
Eligible Individuals
- Children from the 3-year-old class to the 5-year-old class who need childcare
- Children from households exempt from the Municipal Resident Tax who are 3 years old and require childcare (from April to August, this applies to households that were exempt in the previous year)
Note: "The necessity for childcare" refers to the Parent or Guardian meeting one of the following reasons. Please attach the documents that prove this to the Application Form. For details, please see the back of the Application Form under "Attached Documents."
- Employment of 12 hours or more per week, nursing, caregiving, or schooling
- Diseases and Disabilities
- Job Search Activities
Details of Free Provision
In addition to the free childcare fees (the current system Kindergarten has a monthly cap of 25,700 yen, and the new system Kindergarten such as certified children's centers is free), a subsidy of up to 450 yen will be provided for each day of after-school care used. The monthly cap is 11,300 yen for eligible person 1 and 16,300 yen for eligible person 2.
However, snack and meal costs are not included.

Please submit the Application Form for the certification of benefits for the use of facilities for Parenting (Type 2 and 3) to the city through the Kindergarten by the desired start date of benefits. The Application Form can also be obtained at the Kindergarten.

Billing

3. Non-licensed childcare facilities (such as certified childcare centers), temporary childcare, sick child care, and those using Family Support Centers

Children from households exempt from Municipal Resident Tax in the 0 to 2-year-old classes that require childcare (for the period from April to August, this applies to households that were exempt in the previous year)
Note 1: "Having a need for childcare" means that the Parent or Guardian falls under one of the following reasons. Please attach the documents that prove this to the Application Form. For details, please refer to the back of the Application Form under "Attached Documents."

Note 2: Those using Licensed Childcare Centers, Certified Childcare Centers, Community-based Childcare Services, Kindergartens, or Employer-led Childcare Services are not eligible. However, if enrolled in a Kindergarten or Certified Childcare Center that has less than 200 operating days per year or less than 8 hours of daily operating time including educational hours, they may be eligible for assistance with the childcare fees at facilities other than their enrolled center. The maximum amount for eligible person 1 is 11,300 yen per month, and for eligible person 2 is 16,300 yen per month.
Details of Free Provision
- Eligible Person 1: Monthly limit of 37,000 yen will be provided
- Eligible Person 2: Monthly limit of 42,000 yen will be provided
- Note: If multiple facilities are used, the total amount will be eligible within the limit amount.
- Note: Food materials costs, transportation costs, event costs, etc. are not included.
- Note: The Family Support Center program only covers the costs associated with child care. If child care and transportation are provided together, the transportation costs are also covered, but transportation alone is not eligible.
Procedure
Certification Application
Please apply to the city by the 20th of the month prior to the desired start month of the benefit (or the last open day before the City Hall closure days or holidays).
For example, if you start using it on April 1, apply by March 20.

Certified Childcare Centers in the city generally use the proxy receipt method. The amount billed by the facility will be the usage fee minus the amount of the Parenting facility usage benefit. Please make your payment to the facility. The city will pay the Parenting facility usage benefit to the facility. There is no need for Parents or Guardians to make a claim.
Other facilities in the city generally use a reimbursement payment method. For facilities outside the city, it varies by facility, so please inquire at the facility about which method is used.
In the case of reimbursement payment method, please pay the full usage fee to the facility first, then fill out the invoice and submit it along with the receipt issued by the facility and the certificate of specific child care support. We will transfer the amount to the designated account.

4. How to Claim for Certified Individuals
Submitted Documents
- Facility Usage Fee Invoice (Inagi City Format)
- Receipt (issued by the facility)
- Specific Child and Parenting Support Provision Certificate (Issued by the facility) (Not required for Family Support Center projects)
- Activity Report (for Family Support Center projects only)
Submission Deadline
Payments are made four times a year. The billing deadlines for each period are as follows. Payments for requests made by the deadline will be transferred around the end of the following month.
Phase 1: Until July 15
2nd Term: Until October 15
3rd Term: Until January 15
4th Term: Until April 15
- Note: If the deadline falls on a City Hall closed day, it will be the next open day.
- Note: You can also consolidate the billing for one fiscal year into four periods. Please submit your request by April 15.
- Note: No notification of the payment amount decision will be sent. Please check the payment amount through your bankbook entries, etc.
- Note: Please be aware that you will no longer be able to make a claim after two years from the date of use.
