Contents

　The Tokyo Metropolitan Board of Education has been holding hands-on events since FY2022 to convey the real situation of school sites to those aspiring to become teachers or interested in the teaching profession. In FY2024, the event will be held as "TOKYO Education Festa!" on Sunday, October 18.

　This event offers a fulfilling program where you can directly talk with and experience the work of active employees thriving in the field, allowing you to feel the appeal of being a teacher. On the day, there will be a special lecture by education critic Naoki Ogi (Ogi Mama), along with 25 different programs covering a variety of themes such as the current state of work style reforms in schools, the rewards of being a teacher, and working conditions. Additionally, the "Colorful TOKYO – Attractions of Wards, Cities, and Towns –" booth will feature panel exhibits introducing the appeal of education.

　Not only students aiming to become teachers in the future, but also those who have obtained a teaching license but have no on-site experience, those who have once left the teaching profession due to parenting or caregiving, and even those who do not currently hold a teaching license but are interested in educational work—anyone is welcome to participate.
