About the 2024 Inagi City Fire Department New Year Ceremony

The annual New Year Inagi City Fire Department Ceremony will be held.

Aiming to protect the lives, bodies, and property of citizens and to create a bright city free of disasters, there will be a parade of fire brigades, simultaneous water discharge from fire pump trucks, and traditional wooden chants performed by the Yanokuchi Matomiki Preservation Society.

Points to Note

If you come by car, you may use the third parking lot at Inagi City Hall, but since the number of spaces is limited, please use public transportation as much as possible.

In case of rain, only the ceremony will be held from 10 a.m. at the hall of the Inagi City Central Cultural Center.

At 8:00 a.m. on the day, a handbell will ring, and at 9:00 a.m., a siren will sound throughout the city. Please be careful not to mistake it for a fire.
