Regarding the Start of Electronic Filing for Individual Resident Tax (From FY2026)

Electronic filing for Individual Resident Tax will begin from FY2026 (for declarations related to income, etc. in 2025).

You can file using your My Number Card through eLTAX on your smartphone or computer.

Note: eLTAX is the name of the Local Tax Portal System, which uses the internet to electronically handle procedures related to local taxes.

eLTAX Individual Resident Tax Electronic Filing System

Please access the link below on your smartphone or computer to file your declaration.

Note: The system is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year (except during maintenance hours).

Note: In principle, the resident tax declaration must be submitted by March 15 (if it falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or public holiday, by the next business day).

Note: For electronic filing of Income Tax, please use the National Tax Agency's e-TAX. If you have filed an Income Tax return (final tax return), you do not need to file a resident tax declaration.

What You Need for Electronic Filing

  • My Number Card
  • PIN for User Authentication Electronic Certificate (4-digit number)
  • PIN for Signature Electronic Certificate (6 to 16 alphanumeric characters)
  • Smartphone or computer with internet access
  • Installation of the Mynaportal App (for those filing via smartphone)
  • IC card reader/writer for reading My Number Card (for those filing via computer)
  • Email address for receiving notifications
  • Documents showing income and necessary expenses from the previous year (e.g., withholding tax slip, business income and expenditure statement, etc.)
  • Receipts and certificates required for declaring various deductions (e.g., receipt for health insurance premiums, life insurance premium deduction certificate, earthquake insurance premium deduction certificate, medical expenses deduction calculation statement, donation receipt, etc.)
