Special measures have been established regarding the application of the special deduction for miscellaneous losses for those who suffered damage to housing, household goods, etc. due to the 2024 Noto Peninsula earthquake.

We sincerely extend our sympathies to all those affected by the 2024 Noto Peninsula earthquake.

This time, the Local Tax Law, related laws and regulations, and the Inagi City Ordinance have been amended, making it possible to apply the special deduction for miscellaneous losses to damage sustained to assets such as housing and household goods due to the 2024 Noto Peninsula earthquake in the FY2024 Municipal Resident Tax and Tokyo Metropolitan Resident Tax.

If you have filed an Income Tax return, you do not need to file a Municipal Resident Tax or Tokyo Metropolitan Resident Tax declaration.
