Recently, the Local Tax Law and related regulations, as well as the Inagi City Ordinance, have been amended. As a result of the Noto Peninsula Earthquake in the 6th year of Reiwa, it will be possible to apply for a miscellaneous loss deduction for damages to assets such as housing and household goods in the Municipal Resident Tax and Tokyo Metropolitan Resident Tax for the 6th year of Reiwa.

If you have filed an Income Tax return, you do not need to file a Municipal Resident Tax or Tokyo Metropolitan Resident Tax declaration.
