Convenience Store Issuance of Tax Certificates and Non-Tax Certificates

You can obtain Municipal Resident Tax and Tokyo Metropolitan Resident Tax certificates at multifunction terminals in convenience stores.

In Inagi City, a convenience store issuance service that allows you to obtain certificates such as copies of the Certificate of Residence at convenience stores nationwide using the My Number Card (Individual Number Card) was launched on February 16, 2017.

A My Number Card (Individual Number Card) is required for use.

Eligible Users

Those who are registered residents of Inagi City and possess a My Number Card (equipped with a user certification electronic certificate)

Note: The Basic Resident Registration Card and notification card cannot be used.

Certificates Available

  • Municipal Resident Tax and Tokyo Metropolitan Resident Tax Taxation Certificate (Non-Taxation Certificate)
  • Fee: 300 yen per copy
  • Eligibility: For the individual who filed the declaration (declaration required even for dependents)
  • Issuable Year: Only the latest year

Note: From April 1 to May 31, the previous year's taxation certificate will be issued.

How to Use

You can obtain certificates at multifunction terminals (multi-copy machines) at convenience stores nationwide that support the following convenience store issuance.

  1. Touch the "Administrative Services" on the touch panel screen of the multifunction terminal (multi-copy machine).
  2. Set the My Number Card in the designated position and enter the 4-digit PIN (for user certificate).
  3. Touch the type of certificate.
  4. Insert the fee and touch "Print Start".
  5. Certificates and receipts will be printed.

Usage Hours

From 6:30 AM to 11:00 PM

  • Note: Usage hours may vary depending on the store.
  • Note: Excluding the year-end and New Year holidays (December 29 to January 3) and during equipment maintenance.

Available Stores

Nationwide Seven-Eleven, Lawson, FamilyMart, Seicomart, Aeon Retail, A-COOP Kagoshima, Ministop, Poplar, Japan Post, Aeon Kyushu, and others

Note: It cannot be used at stores without multifunction terminals (multi-copy machines).

About Security Measures

  • Users operate the multifunction terminal (multi-copy machine) themselves to obtain documents, so personal information is not exposed to others.
  • Measures to prevent personal information leakage are implemented, such as using a dedicated line network and encrypting communications.
  • The multifunction terminal (multi-copy machine) provides screen displays and voice guidance to prevent forgetting your My Number Card and certificates.
  • Certificates are printed with forgery and tampering prevention processing.

Important Notes (Please be sure to read)

  • Those who have not completed the continuation procedure for their My Number Card after submitting a moving-in notification cannot use the convenience store issuance service. You need to complete the continuation procedure at City Hall or a Branch Office.
  • Those who have submitted a notification of moving out cannot use the convenience store issuance service even if they are being taxed in Inagi City. Please apply at the City Hall or Branch Office counters, by mail request, or through online application.
  • If you have completed the transfer procedure on a holiday opening day, you will not be able to obtain the certificate immediately. It will be available for use from the afternoon of the next opening day.
  • Persons eligible for support measures under the Basic Resident Registration Act cannot use the convenience store issuance service. Please apply at the City Hall, Branch Office counters, or via online application.
  • The certificate issued at the City Hall and Branch Offices uses different paper.
  • Certificates cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded.
  • If there is a paper jam, print distortion, or other equipment trouble when issuing the certificate, please report it to the staff on the spot, and after a refund, proceed with reissuing the certificate.
  • If you wish to obtain a certificate for reasons that exempt the fee under ordinances, please apply at the City Hall or Branch Office counter (refunds cannot be made afterward).
  • It may take some time to issue the certificate. Please wait for a while without leaving the area during the issuance.
  • The My Number Card contains personal information and is an important card that can be used as an official form of identification. Please be very careful in handling it to avoid leaving it behind or losing it.
  • If you have lost your PIN, you need to reset it at the City Hall or Branch Office.
  • If you enter the PIN incorrectly three times in a row, it will be locked. To unlock it, you need to complete the procedure at City Hall or the Branch Office.

Certificate of Residence and Seal Registration Certificate can also be issued.
