Extension of the deadline for declaration and payment of Municipal Tax due to the Kumamoto Earthquake in 2026

Based on the damage situation caused by the Kumamoto Earthquake in 2026, and pursuant to the provisions of Article 18-2, Paragraph 1 of the Inagi City Municipal Tax Ordinance, the deadlines for declaration, application, claims, and submission of other documents related to Municipal Tax (excluding those related to review requests), or for payment or remittance, that fall on or after July 28, 2026, for the taxpayers listed below, will be extended for the time being.

Taxpayers Subject to Tax Obligations

  • (Individuals) Taxpayers who have a residence or domicile within the designated areas below
  • (Corporations) Taxpayers who have their principal office, etc. within the designated areas below

Note: Even those outside the designated areas may have their deadlines extended depending on the extent of the damage.
