(For beginners and those with no experience!) Would you like to enjoyably work on improving your health while learning the rules of Go and basic techniques?

 This course is part of Inagi City's dementia prevention measures.

 By learning Go, we aim to maintain and improve cognitive functions and physical and mental health. Additionally, for those interested, forming independent groups to engage in community activities is intended to lead to sustainable brain health care.

Course Content

 This content is designed for beginners and those with no experience, covering everything from explaining the rules, basic playing techniques, to how to conduct a match.

 A brain vitality check test will be conducted at the beginning and at the end of the course.

 The latter half of the course includes follow-up for forming independent groups and practical volunteer activities for multigenerational exchange through Go.

Event Period

From Wednesday, September 17, 2025to Wednesday, February 4, 2026Every Wednesday during this period

・A total of 19 sessions (No sessions on November 19 and December 31)

・About the Briefing Session
An orientation session will be held at the same venue on the following dates. Those who will participate in the course must attend the orientation session.
Wednesday, September 3, 1:15 PM to 3:15 PM

Event Time

From 1:15 PM to 2:45 PM

- Health checkups and follow-up sessions are until 3:15 PM

Welfare Center (2nd Floor, Preventive Care Classroom)

Eligibility

For Inagi City residents aged 60 and over who are inexperienced or beginners in Go
