Participants Wanted! Picture Book Reading Course for Brain Health Care

Would you like to acquire picture book reading skills and enjoy working on health promotion?

　This course is part of Inagi City's dementia prevention measures.

　Learn picture book reading techniques with the aim of maintaining and improving cognitive function and physical and mental health, and for those interested, engage in activities with local voluntary groups to promote sustainable brain health care.

Course Content

　You will learn a wide range of topics including vocalization methods, how to select picture books, effective expression, and muscle training to maintain correct posture.

　A brain vitality check test will be conducted at the beginning and at the end of the course.

　The latter half of the course includes follow-up aimed at activities in independent groups.

Event Period

Every Wednesday from September 9, 2024 (Wednesday) to January 27, 2025 (Wednesday)

・A total of 17 sessions (No sessions on September 23, December 30, January 6, and January 20)

・About the Briefing Session
An orientation session will be held at the same venue on the following dates. Those who will participate in the course must attend the orientation session.
