The "Inagi City Boccia Tournament" will be held as a joint project of the Inagi City District Sports Promotion Association.
Not only those who regularly enjoy boccia but also beginners can participate, so please be sure to apply!
The top two teams will qualify to participate in the "2025 Tokyo Metropolitan Municipalities Boccia Tournament" held on Saturday, January 24, 2026.

Eligibility

  • For elementary school students and above (the representative must be a resident, worker, or student in Inagi City)
  • No disadvantages for people with disabilities (use of assistive devices allowed)
  • Up to 6 people per team can enter
  • If there are fewer than 3 applicants, the secretariat will organize the team.

Competition Rules

This tournament will be conducted in accordance with the "Japan Boccia Association Competition Rules 2025-2028 v.1.0" and the tournament agreements.
On the day, please follow the referee's instructions and cooperate for a smooth progress of the match.
Of course, to ensure that even those who are not very familiar with the rules can enjoy themselves, referees will guide you, so please rest assured!

Match Format

  • Team competition (1 team consists of 3 to 6 members), 2-end system (3 members participate per end)
  • Rankings will be determined through group league and tournament formats (subject to change depending on the number of participating teams).
  • Teams eliminated in the group league can also use the available courts for practice and friendly matches.
  • Judgments are made by the officers of the District Sports Promotion Association

  • Bring the application form to the Sports Promotion Section on the 6th floor of City Hall
  • Submit the application form to the local district sports promotion association in your area

Note: When submitting to the District Sports Promotion Association, please contact the representative of your residential district in advance. When calling the district representative, be sure to leave a message on the answering machine stating that you are applying for this tournament.

The "Tokyo Metropolitan Municipalities Boccia Tournament" is a competition in which representative teams from 30 cities and towns in the Tokyo metropolitan area participate.
The top 2 teams of the Inagi City Boccia Tournament can participate.
