Tournament Participants Wanted!

The "Inagi City Boccia Tournament" will be held as a joint project of the Inagi City District Physical Education (Sports) Promotion Association.
Not only those who regularly enjoy boccia but also beginners can participate, so please be sure to apply!
The top two teams will qualify to participate in the FY2026 Tokyo Metropolitan Municipalities Boccia Tournament held on Saturday, January 23, 2027.

Eligibility

• For elementary school students and above (the representative must be a resident, worker, or student in Inagi City)
• No disadvantages for people with disabilities (use of assistive devices allowed)
• Up to 6 people per team can enter
• If there are fewer than 3 applicants, the secretariat will organize the team.

Competition Rules

This tournament will be conducted according to the "Japan Boccia Association Competition Rules" and the tournament agreements.
On the day, please follow the referee's instructions and cooperate for a smooth progress of the match.
Of course, to ensure that even those who are not very familiar with the rules can enjoy themselves, referees will guide you, so please rest assured!

Participants will be sent a notification after application (scheduled for November) enclosing the latest version of the rules and agreements.

Match Format

• Team competition (1 team consists of 3 to 6 members), 2-end system (3 members participate per end)
• Rankings will be determined through group league and tournament formats (subject to change depending on the number of participating teams).
• Teams eliminated in the group league can also use the available courts for practice and friendly matches.
• Referees will be appointed from the officers of the District Physical Education (Sports) Promotion Association

• Bring the application form to the Sports Promotion Section on the 6th floor of City Hall
• Submit the application form to the District Physical Education (Sports) Promotion Association of your residential district

Regarding the Qualification for the FY2026 Tokyo Metropolitan Municipalities Boccia Tournament

The top two teams of the Inagi City Boccia Tournament
can participate in the FY2026 Tokyo Metropolitan Municipalities Boccia Tournament, where representative teams from 29 municipalities in the Tokyo metropolitan area compete.

The previous Inagi City District Sports Promotion Association joint project "Inagi City Boccia Tournament" was held on December 14, 2025,

25 teams and 80 people participated. The results are as follows.
