The adoptive parents and the adoptees will be the ones to submit the notification, but if the adoptee is under 15 years old, the legal guardians will submit the notification on behalf of the adoptee.
If the adopted child is a minor, permission from the family court may be required for the adoption, so please consult the Citizen Affairs Division before submitting the adoption notification.
