Request for Public Comments on the "Report on the Results of Consideration for the Formulation of Community Development Ordinance" [Completed]

The city is working on establishing the (tentative name) Inagi City Community Development Ordinance, which will set standards for mechanisms of resident participation in urban planning and community development, as well as coordination mechanisms in development projects, starting from Fiscal Year 2023. We have been conducting discussions with the aim of enacting it within Fiscal Year 2024 while listening to the opinions of the citizens.

What is the Community Development Ordinance?

The Community Development Ordinance is a regulation established by municipalities to promote community development tailored to the characteristics of the region. In formulating this ordinance, two main considerations are being examined.
The first is the review of regulations related to development projects and construction projects that have been processed under the "Guidelines for Land Development in Inagi City" so far.
The second is the creation of a system for citizens to participate in Community Development.

In Inagi City, we started the examination work towards the formulation of this "Community Development Ordinance" from April 2023.

What is the Community Development Ordinance Formulation Committee?

The Community Development Ordinance Formulation Committee is a committee that conducts research on the Community Development Ordinance, gathers opinions from a wide range of knowledgeable individuals, and reports to the mayor. It is composed of citizens and experts recommended by various organizations.
