The Home Appliance Recycling Law (Specified Household Appliance Recycling Law) was amended in April 2009.
This law requires manufacturers to recycle at a certain standard or higher for air conditioners, televisions (including CRT types), refrigerators (including freezers), washing machines, and clothes dryers, the five items.
With the enforcement of this law, the five items that were sold in the past or have become unnecessary at the time of replacement will be collected by home appliance retailers, and recycling will be carried out by home appliance manufacturers.
The costs (collection and transportation fees charged by home appliance retailers and fees for recycling by manufacturers) will be borne by the consumer.

Appliances subject to the Home Appliance Recycling Law cannot be collected or processed by the city.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but please check the following information and dispose of the items appropriately.
