Family Register Certificate
From March 1, 2024, it has become possible to request family register copies and other documents from other municipalities. (Wide-area issuance)
In the case of claims under wide-area grants, the required items for the claim differ.

This page mainly provides information about the issuance of family register certificates for those whose registered domicile is Inagi City.
From January 20, 2025, it has become possible to request family register certificates online for those whose registered domicile is Inagi City.

- Notice: The City Hall is open on holidays only at the Citizen Affairs Division on the first floor.
- Notice: Wide-area issuance is not available on holidays.
- Notice: If your registered domicile is not in Inagi City, copies of the family register or certificates of identity cannot be issued by Inagi City Hall. Please request them from the city hall of your registered domicile. For requests for family register copies from other municipalities, please refer to the wide-area issuance of family register certificates.
- Notice: If the place of registration for the family register is not Inagi City, the certificate of acceptance cannot be issued at Inagi City Hall. Please request it from the city hall of the place of registration.

Notice: The identification codes for providing electronic family register certificates and electronic removal certificates will be free of charge if (1) requested simultaneously with the same content family register certificate or removal certificate, or (2) requested via My Number Portal.
Required Items for Billing
- Identification documents of the person who came to the counter (documents that verify name and address or name and date of birth)
Notice: For wide-area issuance, identity verification documents are limited to photo ID cards issued by government offices. - Fees (see above)
- Power of Attorney (in case a representative visits the office) (Download Application Form from the page for "Forms related to Power of Attorney")
- Supporting documents that can confirm legitimate claims (in the case of third-party requests, if necessary)
- Original documents confirming the authority of legal representatives such as guardians (for documents like registration certificates created by public offices, only those issued within the last 3 months are acceptable).
Note: For online applications, a My Number Card (with a valid electronic signature certificate) and a smartphone compatible with the My Number Card are required.

- Notice: The holiday office hours are from 8:30 AM to 11:45 AM and from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM

- Notice: The City Hall is the only place open on holidays.
