What is the Basic Resident Register Network System?
The Basic Resident Register Network (Juki Net) is a joint system of local governments that aims to network the Basic Resident Register, which is the foundation of various administrative services conducted by municipalities. It enables nationwide common identity verification through personal identification information (the four basic pieces of information: name, date of birth, gender, and address, as well as aliases limited to foreign residents whose aliases are recorded on the Certificate of Residence) and the Certificate of Residence code, along with any changes to this information. This system serves as the foundation for e-government and e-municipalities.
What Became Possible with the Basic Resident Register Network
Wide Area Issuance of Certificate of Residence Copy
You can obtain a copy of the Certificate of Residence for yourself or members of the same household at the offices of municipalities across the country.
Special Provisions for Moving-Out Notification
When moving out of the city, those who have been issued a My Number Card can apply for the necessary moving-out details via the Mynaportal, eliminating the need to visit City Hall to receive the moving-out certificate.
Special Provisions for Moving-In Notification
In principle, when a person who has been issued a My Number Card moves out, a moving-out certificate will no longer be issued. Instead of the moving-out certificate, you only need to bring your My Number Card to complete the moving-in procedures.
