Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment Exhibition

An unveiling event for electric vehicle charging facilities was held at City Hall First Parking Lot (June 11, 2025)

On May 13, 2024, the city signed a partnership agreement with Terra Charge Inc., a company providing electric vehicle charging services, to promote the development of rapid charging facilities for electric vehicles and aim for carbon neutrality. Currently, Terra Charge Inc. is advancing the installation of rapid electric vehicle charging stations at public facilities within the city. Regarding the installation of rapid electric vehicle charging stations and the provision of charging services, the city provides the installation locations, and Terra Charge Inc. handles the installation and operation of the charging equipment.

This time, Terra Charge Inc. installed a rapid electric vehicle charging station in the first parking lot of Inagi City Hall, and a unveiling event was held. At the event, Mayor Takahashi (Note: The character 'Taka' is the one with a ladder radical) demonstrated using the app to charge a plug-in hybrid vehicle from the rapid charger.

The electric vehicle rapid charging stations installed in public facilities within the city are ultra-fast charging stations compatible with 150kW. Inagi City is the first among municipalities nationwide where Terra Charge Co., Ltd. installs charging stations of this standard.
