About the System

Purpose

By subsidizing part of the expenses for those who use accommodation facilities located in Sister Cities Ozora Town and Foster City, as well as Friendship Cities Soma City and Nozawa Onsen Village, we aim to promote the development of exchanges with Inagi City's Sister Cities and Friendship Cities.

Eligible Individuals

  1. Persons with an address in the area of Inagi City
  2. Persons working at businesses and other establishments within the area of Inagi City
  3. Students enrolled in schools within the area of Inagi City
  4. Those recognized by the mayor as particularly in need of assistance (e.g., chaperones not falling under items 1 to 3 above in the city's projects)

Note: For travel groups without a Parent or Guardian accompanying them, individuals under 15 years old require a consent form from a Parent or Guardian.

Subsidy Details

The eligible expenses for the subsidy are limited to accommodation fees only.

Subsidies are also provided each fiscal year within the scope of the budget.

Note: The subsidy amount is capped at the accommodation fee.

Procedure for Using the Subsidy (Application Method Changed from April 1, 2026)

1. Reservation of Accommodation

  • Please make a reservation at an accommodation located in Ozora Town, Hokkaido; Foster City, United States; Soma City, Fukushima Prefecture; or Nozawa Onsen Village, Nagano Prefecture. All facilities located in the listed municipalities are eligible.
  • If you use internet reservations or package tours, please check the items described in the notes below.

Note: For internet reservations and payments, as well as when using package tours, a detailed statement or similar document confirming items (1) through (4) is also required.

2 Submit Invoice

After using the eligible accommodation,

  • Invoice
  • Receipt for payment of accommodation fees

Please submit.

 

Note: In the case of internet reservations and payments, documents that can confirm the reservation details are also required.

Note: When using package tours, etc., a detailed statement or similar document confirming the "Accommodation Facility Name," "Accommodation Period," "Number of Guests," and "Accommodation Amount" is required.

Note: Transportation expenses are not eligible for subsidy.

3 Receiving the Grant Amount

Please note that it will take a few days to process the payment of the grant.

Once the payment is ready, we will contact you at the phone number listed on the invoice, so please come to the NPO Citizen Activity Support Center Inagi counter.

(You will be asked to sign the receipt.)

Reception Period

Until the 10th of the month following the checkout date

Note: If the 10th is a closed day, then until the 9th
