Regarding New Construction Notification (Address Display)

The address display system started in Sakahama 1-chome and 2-chome from October 3, 2026.

From October 3, 2026, if you construct a new building or rebuild within the residential address implementation area, submission of a New Construction Notification is required.

After the New Construction Notification is submitted, an on-site survey will be conducted and the residential number will be determined.

Based on this residence number, the address on the Certificate of Residence at the notification location and the location of offices, etc., will be determined.

 

Note : Submission of a notification form is also required in the case of rebuilding. If the position of the entrance has changed from before, the residence number will be changed, and the address on the resident registration may also be changed.

Note : Please submit promptly once construction has started. If submission is delayed, procedures such as moving in or changing residence cannot be processed.

Required Documents

Please submit all of the following documents (submitted documents will not be returned).

2. Guide Map	Please indicate the construction location on a copy of Google Maps, a residential map, or similar.
3. Site Plan (A drawing showing the position of the building on the site)
4. Floor plan of the building's first floor (A drawing where the main entrance can be confirmed)	Please mark an arrow in red at the main entrance

After Notification

• After submitting the New Construction Notification, the person in charge will conduct an on-site survey and determine the residence number.
• Once the residence number is decided, we will send you the "Residence Number Assignment Notice" and the "Residence Number Display Plate."
• Please attach the plate in a visible location such as the gate or entrance.
• If you move, please carry out procedures such as moving in or changing address based on that residence number.
• In the case of business establishments, it is necessary to apply for registration at the Legal Affairs Bureau.
