Notation method on the Certificate of Residence for areas where the Addressing System is implemented
The New Construction Notification submitted in advance is used to conduct on-site surveys and determine the residence number, which is then used as the address on the Certificate of Residence. The address notation on the Certificate of Residence will be "Chome, Ban, Go".
If the new construction notification has not been submitted in advance, the residence number will not be determined, and the procedure for resident registration cannot be completed.

Method of notation on the Certificate of Residence in areas where the residence indication system is not implemented
The "land number" of the land designation is used as the address on the Certificate of Residence.
The notation of the address on the Certificate of Residence will be "● Banchi" or "● Banchi no ●".
Notes
- If the land display includes a large or small character, the address will be displayed omitting it.
- If the land is divided into multiple lot numbers, one of them will be used as the address lot number by objectively judging factors such as the lot number of the land with the largest occupied area or the lot number of the entrance (main entrance of the residence).
- For land readjustment areas, the "lot number" may not be used.
How to confirm the address at the time of resident registration (areas where the residential addressing system is not implemented)
In Inagi City, when accepting moves or relocations to areas where the residential addressing system is not implemented, the Citizen Affairs Division confirms the location of the land where you reside using maps and other materials they hold, and after confirming the lot number, resident registration is conducted.
If the lot number cannot be confirmed using maps held by the Citizen Affairs Division for land readjustment areas or newly constructed properties, resident registration will be conducted after confirming the lot number with another division.
To prevent incorrect guidance,We do not provide address information over the phone.
If you wish to confirm the address notation for resident registration in advance, please bring documents related to the building or land and visit the City Hall Citizen Affairs Division directly to inquire.
