Foreign residents with an address in Inagi City who have newly become medium- to long-term residents due to changes in their residency status must register their residence.

Notification Period

Within 14 days from the date of becoming a mid- to long-term resident, etc.

Place of Notification

Citizen Affairs Division, 1st Floor, City Hall
Notice Procedures cannot be taken at the Branch Office.

Notifier

  • The individual or head of household who has become a mid- to long-term resident, etc.
  • Agent with a power of attorney

Notice The power of attorney must be entirely handwritten by the principal.

Required Items for Notification

  1. Identification documents of the notifier
  2. Residence cards for all individuals who have become mid- to long-term residents, etc.

Required only if applicable

  • If you are joining a household already registered in Inagi City, you will need a document proving your relationship to the head of the household (such as a family register transcript, marriage certificate, birth certificate, etc.) along with its translation. However, if you have a family register in this city and your relationship to the head of the household can be confirmed, these are not required.
  • If you wish to apply for a Special Residence Card at the same time as registering your residence, please check the following page and bring the necessary documents.
