When a person aged 65 or older is hospitalized in a recuperation ward, they will bear the standard burden amount set for food and accommodation costs.

  • Residents of non-taxable households and those with low income levels 1 and 2 who do not use the My Health Insurance Card are required to apply for the "Certificate of Eligibility for Reduced Standard Burden Amount for Medical Care and Meals." You can receive the reduction by completing the issuance procedure at the National Health Insurance window and submitting it to the medical institution.
