Overview of School Sports Facility Group Access

School sports facility group opening refers to the lending of school facilities to groups for the purpose of sports recreation activities or cultural activities, within the scope that does not interfere with school education, based on the "Ordinance on the Use of Inagi City Public School Facilities," the "Enforcement Regulations of the Ordinance on the Use of Inagi City Public School Facilities," and the "Regulations on the Opening of Inagi City Public School Sports Facilities." Within the scope that does not interfere with school education, lending school facilities to groups for the purpose of sports recreation activities or cultural activities.

Open Facilities

  • Gymnasium (All Elementary and Junior High Schools)
  • Schoolyard (All Elementary and Junior High Schools)
  • Clubhouse (Nagamine Elementary School, Inagi Dai 4 Junior High School, Inagi Dai 5 Junior High School only)
  • Inagi Dai 5 Junior High School Playground Lighting Equipment (Only when the playground is rented at the same time)

Note: Rentals of other areas (classrooms, special classrooms, corridors, etc.) are not available.

Opening Hours

[Gymnasium and Clubhouse(Since start times vary by school, please check the Public Facilities Reservation System.)]

 Weekdays: From school dismissal time to 9:30 PM

 Holidays: 8:00 AM to 9:30 PM

[Schoolyard (Not available for rental on weekdays due to after-school activities and club activities. Rental is only available on holidays.)]

 From April to October: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM

 From November to March: 8:00 PM to 4:30 PM

(Only Inagi Dai 5 Junior High School: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and holidays from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM)

Lending Suspension Date

  • From December 29 to January 3
  • Priority for school events, public events, construction (repairs), elections, etc.

 If the schedule is decided in advance, lending will be suspended on the relevant day. Also, in the case of sudden events, lending may be suspended after the reservation is confirmed.

  • Shelter Setup

 In the event that a school becomes a shelter due to wind and flood damage, earthquakes, or other disasters, or is expected to do so, lending will be suspended after the reservation is confirmed because prediction is impossible. Additionally, lending may be suspended for short or long periods due to outbreaks of designated infectious diseases and other reasons.

  • In addition, lending may be suspended if necessary.

Note: In case of an emergency suspension of lending, we will notify you via the city website or email distribution service (Parenting & Education (Events & Courses)), so please register.

 

Usage Fee

Gymnasium, Schoolyard, Clubhouse

 According to "Article 7, Paragraph 1 of the Inagi City Public Schools Facility Usage Ordinance," registered groups are exempt from facility usage fees.

Inagi Dai 5 Junior High School Night Lighting

 The Education General Affairs Section counter sells the numbers required for lighting activation.

 Amount: 1,740 yen (2 hours) Note: Lighting time is until 9 PM.

Gymnasium Air Conditioning

 We sell prepaid cards for using the gymnasium air conditioning.

 Sales locations: Vending machines are installed on the 1st floor of City Hall (east side), Comprehensive Gymnasium, and Third Cultural Center.

 Amount: 1,000 yen per ticket (2 hours)

 Note: Please be aware that we do not provide change or currency exchange. Also, if you need a receipt, please visit the Education General Affairs Section after purchasing with a card.

Registration Conditions

Organizations seeking registration are limited to those that meet the following conditions.

  1. Organizations Aiming for Continuous Sports and Cultural Activities
  2. Within Inagi City groups consisting of 10 or more people who live, work, or study
  3. Person in charge of the organization includes groups that have adults residing, working, or studying in Inagi City
  4. Members do not belong to other registered organizations in the same category
  5. Not an organization for political or religious activities or for-profit purposes

Available Sports

Schoolyard

Softball, Rubber Baseball, Soccer, Ground Golf, etc.

Gymnasium

Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton, Dance, Gymnastics, etc.

Note: Competitions that may damage or break floors, walls, or equipment are not allowed.

Clubhouse

It can be used as a conference room or waiting room. Also, only the clubhouse of Inagi Dai 4 Junior High School can be used for light sports.

Other Topics

  • In the case of the schoolyard, it cannot be used if the condition of the ground is poor (such as footprints remaining).
  • Equipment necessary for the competition (balls, bats, rackets, etc.) is not provided.
  • In the case of the gymnasium, basketball goals, badminton posts (including nets), volleyball posts (including nets), and table tennis tables (including nets) are available. However, the number of units varies by school. Note: There may be cases where the number of posts available does not match the number of courts marked on the gymnasium floor.
  • In the case of gymnastics competitions inside the gymnasium, we do not lend equipment such as mats or vaulting boxes that are used in school classes.
  • The competition lines drawn on the gymnasium floor vary by school, but please absolutely refrain from putting tape on the gymnasium floor. Even tape with weak adhesive can peel off the floor when removed, causing damage and hindering safe school operations.

New Organization Registration Procedure

Documents Required for Group Registration Application

Applications are accepted by mail or at the Education General Affairs Section counter. (Applications are not accepted at each Cultural Center, Nomura Real Estate Inagi Arena (Comprehensive Gymnasium), or Verdy Field.) Please submit the required documents below to the Education General Affairs Section.

Required Documents for Submission

1. Application Form for Registration of Groups Using Inagi City Public Schools' Sports Facilities

2. List of Members of Registered Group Organizations

3. Group Regulations (Only for groups with regulations)

4. Copies of identification documents for all members

 

[Identification Card]

[For residents within the city]

  • Identification card (For members who are junior high school students or younger at the time of application acceptance at the Education General Affairs Division, attaching an identification card is not required.)

[For those working within the city]

  • Identification Document
  • Employment/Workplace Certificate issued by the employer corporation (The certificate must include the issue date, be within one month of the application date, be an original document, and bear the company seal. Additionally, the address of the workplace must be stated.)

Note: If you cannot obtain a work or employment certificate issued by the corporation you work for, please use the employment certificate format below. Fill in the required information yourself and submit it with the corporation's seal affixed.
If the main office or headquarters of the corporation is outside the city and the branch office is located within the city, please indicate this in the remarks section.

[If attending school within the city]

  • Identification card and documents proving enrollment in a school within the city (student ID, etc.)

[Details of Identification Document]

A copy of an identification document issued by a national or local government agency that includes "address," "name," and "date of birth"

(Be sure to make a copy that clearly shows the three points: "Address," "Name," and "Date of Birth.")

Examples of Acceptable Documents: Driver's License, Passport, My Number Card, Health Insurance Card or Health Insurance Eligibility Certificate, Copy of Certificate of Residence (issued within one month prior to application)

Examples of items that cannot be used: Notification card for My Number, bills or contracts for electricity, gas, water and sewerage, telephone charges, delivery slips for parcels, etc.

Group Registration in the Public Facilities Reservation System

[Group Registration on the Public Facilities Reservation System]

After the group registration is completed, the registration number (user ID) required for group registration in the Public Facilities Reservation System will be notified in the "Notification of Approval for Group Use Registration of Inagi City Public Schools Sports Facilities".

Access the Public Facilities Reservation System and register your group (set a password) on the Public Facilities Reservation System.

The "Notification of Approval for Group Use Registration of Inagi City Public Schools Sports Facilities" includes the "Registration Number (User ID)" and the "Post Number" required when borrowing the facility key, so please keep it carefully.

How to Make a Reservation

Reservation for the Date of Use

Reservations for the lottery for the following month start on the 1st of every month. The lottery will be held at 8:00 AM on the 20th. After that, you can make reservations through the Public Facilities reservation system until 3:00 PM the day before the usage date.

Also, if you find out that you need to cancel after the reservation has been completed, please cancel immediately through the Public Facilities Reservation System. This is also until 3:00 PM on the day before the usage date. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation so that many user groups can use the facilities.

Day of Event Precautions

On the Day of Use

  • Each school's sports facilities are locked and secured by Secom. When using the facilities, please borrow the key at the lending counter (each Community Center, Nomura Real Estate Inagi Arena (Comprehensive Gymnasium)).
  • When borrowing a key, please present something that shows your reservation details (a screen on your smartphone showing the reservation) at the counter, and please inform the counter of the "Group Name," "Reserved Facility (School Name, Facility)," and "Reservation Time."
  • Outside the operating hours of each Community Center, key lending and return services are available through the dedicated key lending post installed at each Community Center. This post is locked. The key number will be notified in the "Inagi City School Sports Facility Opening Group Use Registration Approval Notice."

Notes and Document Submission After Same-Day Use

Notes After Same-Day Use

  • Please be sure to lock all locks (windows, doors, SECOM, etc.).
  • Please be sure to check that no trash is left behind when you leave.

Since the school will use it for classes from the next day onward, please ensure thorough restoration to the original state and confirmation after use so as not to affect school operations.

Submission of Open Diary

  • Please submit the open use log when using the facility. The open use log is in the lending bag for each key.
  • Since some schools do not lend keys for using the schoolyard, please download and use the form from here.
  • Please submit the open diary by posting it in the designated mailbox installed at each school. Please check the location of the mailbox in the "Guide to the Use of Inagi City Public Schools Sports Facilities."

 Note: Do not leave the completed open log inside the key pouch.

Other Topics

  • Regarding the SECOM operation, instructions are included in the key lending bag, so please follow them while operating.
  • In the event that facilities or equipment are damaged, it may interfere with school operations the following day depending on the situation. Please make sure to write it in the open-use log and report it to the "school" and the "Inagi City Board of Education" by the next business day or later.
  • "Pool" or if balls or other items enter areas where entry is prohibited, such as the "roof," absolutely do not enter to retrieve them. After recording the incident in the open log, be sure to report it to the "school" and the "Inagi City Board of Education" on the next business day or later. The same applies if equipment enters difficult-to-access areas in the gymnasium.
  • Please cancel your reservation through the Public Facilities Reservation System by 3:00 PM the day before. If you realize you need to cancel after this time, please contact the Education General Affairs Division from the next day onward.

Validity Period of Group Registration

The validity period is from July until the end of June two years later, and renewal procedures are required every two years. However, for new organizations, the validity period is until the next renewal after receiving the grant.
