Please consult the Tokyo Metropolitan Animal Protection Consultation Center Tama Branch.
[If bitten by a dog]
Rabies is a frightening disease, but in domestic incidents where there are currently no cases, there is no need to worry if the dog is examined.
If the owner is known, the owner is responsible for having the dog examined by a veterinarian.
If the owner is unknown, please report to the Tokyo Animal Protection Consultation Center. The center will take in the dog and conduct an examination to determine whether there is any suspicion of rabies.
