Condolence Payment for Patients with Special Diseases in Inagi City

The Inagi City Special Disease Patient Relief Fund aims to promote welfare by providing relief funds to those affected by special diseases.

Eligible Individuals

Those who meet any of the following conditions

  • Those who have an address in Inagi City.
  • Those who hold a Specific Medical Expenses (Designated Intractable Diseases) Recipient Certificate and have a burden limit amount that is not 0 yen. Or those who hold a Maruto Medical Voucher for the target diseases (Note).

(Note) The Maruto medical vouchers for the diseases listed below are not eligible for issuance.

  • Kidney failure requiring dialysis
  • Air Pollution Related Diseases
  • Medical Care for Children of Atomic Bomb Survivors
  • Child Psychiatry
  • Pregnancy-induced Hypertension Syndrome, etc.
  • Hepatitis B and C

Combined Benefit Restrictions

Those who fall under any of the following categories are not eligible to receive the special disease condolence payment.

  • Individuals receiving Disability Welfare benefits for physical and mental disabilities
  • Those receiving disability allowance under the Child Raising Allowance Ordinance

Amount Granted

Monthly 5,000 yen

Payment Method

The full amount of 20,000 yen for the previous four months will be paid into the account in the recipient's name in the next payment month.
(Payments will start from the month of application. However, there are exceptions such as in cases of moving in.)

  • June (for the period from February to May)
  • October (for the period from June to September)
  • February (for the period from October to January)

Please bring all of the following items and apply at the Disability Welfare Division counter.

  1. Eligible Medical Coupons (Not required for those applying for medical coupons at the same time)
  2. Documents showing the account to which the transfer will be made (in the name of the person)
