Professor Lecture: "Understanding Contemporary Korea – Politics, Diplomacy, Socio-Culture, and Japan-Korea Relations"
Event Category: Courses and Classes (Learn and Listen)

For Japan, the rapidly changing situation in Korea has aspects that are difficult to understand. The declaration of a state of emergency martial law, the birth of a new president, and the fluctuating Japan-Korea relations—these developments always attract attention. In this lecture, we will cover Korean politics, diplomacy, and socio-culture, explaining them with comparisons between Japan and Korea as well as from a geopolitical perspective. Furthermore, we will exchange opinions with the participants and look ahead to the future of Japan-Korea relations.
