Professor Lecture Series: "The Role of Skeletal Muscle in Health – Exploring Its Mechanisms"

Walking, running, lifting things... The muscles attached to bones that we can move by our own will are called "skeletal muscles."

However, skeletal muscles are not just for moving the body.　

Skeletal muscle is the largest organ, accounting for 40% of body weight, and recent research has revealed that it is deeply involved not only in exercise but also in metabolism and maintaining health. This lecture will clearly explain how the structure of skeletal muscle relates to health.

1st	October 18 (Sunday)	What is skeletal muscle: Learn about the structure and characteristics of muscles from tissues to cells and molecules.
2nd	Sunday, November 15	How does skeletal muscle change? Explore the mechanisms of adaptation through exercise and nutrition.
3rd	December 20 (Sunday)	Skeletal muscle and health We take a multifaceted approach to understanding the role muscles play in overall health.
