The Collection Division takes over claims that have not been paid within the current fiscal year and have become delinquent carryovers (from previous years), and conducts centralized collection.
For those who do not respond to reminder notices or who show no intention to pay, regardless of the amount overdue, we will take delinquency measures such as seizure of assets based on laws and regulations, and file for payment orders or compulsory execution with the court to secure the claim.
If you are having difficulty with payment, please do not leave it as is and consult the Revenue Division promptly.

What is delinquent tax collection?

Regardless of the will of the person who is delinquent in payment (the delinquent), this is a series of procedures to forcibly collect the overdue charges by investigating the person's assets, seizing bank deposits, salary, life insurance, real estate, etc., converting them to cash (public auction), and applying the proceeds to fully settle the overdue charges.
This procedure is stipulated by laws such as the Local Tax Law and the National Tax Collection Act, and if the city's tax collection officers deem it necessary, it can be carried out without the court's permission.

Note: Since the After-School Childcare Program development fee cannot be seized due to delinquency, enforcement will be carried out after filing a petition with the court.
