Professor Lecture "Considering the Nature of Social Welfare (Support and Assistance)"

In our community and homes, there are people living daily lives while facing difficulties such as "mental distress," "disabilities," "illness," and "challenges in daily living." Everyone wants to engage in some way to overcome these difficulties, but it is often not easy to do so successfully. From the perspective of creating new social welfare (social work), we hope to provide an opportunity to think about this together with everyone.

3rd December 21

Framework for Assistance and Support
This explains what appears in places where assistance and support are provided. Is it "people," "professionals," "things," or "systems"? Let's think about it while organizing these concepts.

What is important in assistance and support

We explain and learn about the philosophy of assistance and support (the philosophy of welfare) and the important points we value. What is important to you?

5th February 15

How to Proceed with Assistance and Support

Learn about the process of assistance and support. Focus on the communication (interviews and meetings) between the supporter and the person receiving support. What kind of communication is necessary?

Create "connections" that form the basis of support and assistance

We look at the collaboration and cooperation (joint work) of various assistance and support (citizens, professionals, administration) from the perspective of "Creative Welfare." Let's also consider the "great power" of citizens and volunteers in this context.
