QuestionI have joined my workplace's health insurance and would like to complete the procedure to withdraw from the National Health Insurance, but I cannot take time off work. What should I do?

Response

Even if you are not the person in question, someone from the same household can complete the procedure.
Also, you can complete the procedure on the two monthly weekend office days (in principle, the second Sunday and the fourth Saturday of each month), so please make use of these as well.
If a person from a different household comes to complete the procedure, a power of attorney and identification documents of the agent are required.
Please contact us if you wish to complete the procedure by mail.

Items Required for Procedures

  • Any one of the following: Social Insurance Eligibility Certificate, Notice of Eligibility Information (copy acceptable), or a printed screen of eligibility information confirmation from the Mynaportal
  • National Health Insurance Eligibility Certificate
  • Identification documents for those coming to complete procedures (driver's license, passport, My Number Card, etc.)
