Alert regarding Business Operators who claim "Monthly income of 10,000 yen becomes 1,800,000 yen!" and require consumers to pay large sums of money

Since August 2018, there have been numerous inquiries at Consumer Affairs Centers and other places regarding Business Operators that claim high income can be earned in a short period through side jobs using smartphones or computers, such as "Monthly income of 10,000 yen can become 1.8 million yen!"
The Consumer Affairs Agency, Tokyo Metropolitan Government, and Shimane Prefecture conducted a joint investigation and confirmed acts that may unjustly harm consumer interests (false or exaggerated advertising, misrepresentation) in transactions with Assist Co., Ltd. Therefore, based on the provisions of Article 38, Paragraph 1 of the Consumer Safety Act (Act No. 50 of 2009), we are announcing information that contributes to the prevention of consumer harm or its expansion and calling for attention from consumers.
